How it works
How to use it
Log meals by hand, from quick presets or your frequent meals, set the time you ate, and see calories add up through the day with an estimated protein, carb and fat split. When you set a weight goal, LTG's planner suggests a daily calorie target using the Mifflin–St Jeor equation and keeps it above a minimum intake. Meal history covers 30 days on Free and 365 days with LTG Pro.

Log it your way
Type a food and let LTG estimate its calories, tap a quick preset, repeat a frequent meal or scan a photo. A meal-time picker records when you ate, not just when you logged.

A daily target, explained
With a weight goal set, the planner uses your profile to suggest a daily calorie target and keeps it above a minimum intake.
- 03
Watch the day add up
Your calories card fills as you log, with an estimated protein, carb and fat split alongside.
- 04
Look back
Meal history and your weekly rhythm show how the days have gone, without judging them.

The details that matter
History on Free and Pro
Free keeps 30 days of meal history; LTG Pro keeps 365 days. Older entries are removed.
Estimates, not prescriptions
Calorie targets come from a population formula and the macro split is estimated from food types, so neither can account for everything about you. They are not medical or dietary advice.
Questions
Calorie tracker: questions
How does LTG suggest a calorie target?
When you set a weight goal, the planner uses the details in your profile, such as height, weight, age and activity level, with the Mifflin–St Jeor equation, and keeps the target above a minimum intake. It is an estimate, not medical advice.
Can I track calories without scanning photos?
Yes. Manual logging, presets and frequent meals are free and unlimited. Meal scans are optional.
How long does LTG keep my meal history?
30 days on Free and 365 days with LTG Pro. Older entries are removed.
Can I use pounds instead of kilograms?
When you sign up you can enter your weight in pounds and your height in feet and inches. Elsewhere LTG uses metric units: kilograms, kilometres and millilitres.
